Bruce Carlson sets a skeet shooting record at the Deer River Sportsman’s Club

A skeet shooting record was made at the Deer River Sportsman’s Club (DRSC) on Aug. 13. Bruce Carlson broke 25 straight, the first time anyone has fired a perfect round at the DRSC skeet range. The skeet range was completed the summer of 2000, and this is the first perfect round in 15 years of shooting on it. Those shooting that day were, left to right, Jon Bakkedahl, Stu Anderson, Carlson, Phyllis Anderson, Jim Dethloff, Verl McCardy and Jake Dethloff. Missing from the photo is Bill Wheelecor, as he was taking the picture. Photo by Bill Wheelecor
