Arrangements were made and on March 21 shifts of students in groups of three and four from the Deer River schools arrived at the Deer River Dental Clinic owned by Dr. Jeff Carter for their appointments.

Full Service Schools Coordinator Chad Evans worked out the arrangements to make this happen. He had spoken to Carter and found that he was eager to help out. Evans said, “Carter said that this is one of his main interests, making sure that youngsters in this area have access to good dental care while they are still young.”

Dr. Carter set aside this time just for the students to take care of their needs. The students received checkups, became more comfortable being in a dentist’s office and if there was any follow-up needed, that information was sent home with the students for their caregivers to make follow-up arrangements. The content you are trying to access is only available to members.
