Rumors had been circulating around town that the seniors were going to be losing the services provided to them by the Deer River Silverline Bus in the near future. That had members of the Deer River Golden Age Club very worried, especially its president, Tiemi Erickson.
The Silverline Bus has been owned and operated by the Deer River hospital facility, which was taken over by Essentia Health. They are now in charge of this service.
