Bigfork Elementary students help to beautify the city

Dexi Maxa, Bigfork 6th grade teacher, along with Bigfork City Clerk Angie Storlie, coordinated a city-wide cleanup in Bigfork. One hundred forty-six students, 16 Bigfork Elementary staff, 25 parent/community volunteers and City of Bigfork employees were seen all over town on May 31.

Students and volunteers painted curbs and fire hydrants, planted flowers, raked yards, washed firetrucks and did various other jobs around town. Each volunteer was assigned a group of students in grades K-6.

When the clean up was completed, a Suburban carrying lunches for all students and volunteers came to the Bigfork park for lunch. Dexi and Angie did a great job organizing the event and all the students and volunteers showed their Huskie Pride!
