110 Years Ago—Bowstring bog drainage open to contractors in January. Ladies Aid Society of Deer River Methodist church opens a bazaar in the new church which will last two days. Deaths: Peter Aasheim, 21, a homesteader residing three miles west of Bigfork, died at Hanley Hospital, Deer River, with a severe case of pneumonia. An uncle and cousin of Duluth were present and by their request, burial was made in the new Deer River cemetery, and it is the first to be made in that ground.The content you are trying to access is only available to members.
