Recognition for 100 years of Finnish Independence came to an end this past Dec 31, 2017. Events and celebrations were held throughout Finland and anywhere Finns have located around the world. Norm and Dolly Ford (Fordalla) of Suomi attended 3 events held in Minnesota.
We attended the 80th Laskiainen Finnish Sliding Festival on February 4, 2017 held at the Loon Lake Community Center, Palo, Minnesota.
