All five members of the Itasca County Board of Commissioners gathered to conduct business on Jan. 23, which included paying the bills, voting on project labor agreements, hearing several department updates and getting new Veterans Service Officer (VSO) Luke St. Germain sworn in. With them at the board table were the county administrator, deputy clerk of the board and Assistant County Attorney Mary Evenhouse sitting in for the county attorney.

Chair Leo Trunt (Dist. 3) gaveled the room to order for the pledge and approval of the agenda. The board approved minutes from the Jan. 16 work session and a consent agenda of 21 items. These consent items are summarized at the end of the article.
